Slightly Flawed Anthos Bowl: Three

This beautiful piece has one ‘birthmark’ and is discount accordingly.

‘Anthos’ is Greek for flower or petal. As their name suggests, Anthos Vessels were inspired by the folding and unfolding contours of leafy petals.

Please note, there is a crack on the inside of the bowl. This hairline crack shows very slightly on the base (it’s less visible on the bottom). Because it is sealed in places with glaze, the bowl is still strong.

It is not overly visible on the interior given all of the texture and movement of this leafy form.

This is a stunning piece with wonderful details. 

The sculpture measures 20 inches wide by 5.5 inches high. 

While not necessarily intended for use, this vessel is water tight despite the small flaw.
